Ryanair has issued a last-minute warning to passengers after announcing that its app and website will temporarily go offline for scheduled maintenance this week, potentially affecting bookings and check-ins.
The airline said the outage will take place between 11 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, and 5 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, during which time customers will not be able to access their bookings or complete online check-in through Ryanair’s digital platforms.

Passengers travelling around that time are being urged to prepare in advance to avoid potential travel disruptions. Ryanair has advised customers to download or generate their digital boarding passes before the maintenance window begins.
A notice on the airline’s app states: “Due to essential scheduled maintenance, our website and app will be temporarily unavailable from 23:00hrs Tues, 10 March – 5:00hrs Wed, 11 March.”
The airline added that access to bookings, including check-in services, will not be available during the scheduled downtime, meaning travellers who wait until the last minute could face difficulties accessing their travel documents.
The warning comes as Ryanair continues expanding its route network and promoting discounted fares ahead of the busy summer travel season.

The airline recently announced a packed summer schedule from Lublin, offering flights to six destinations including Dublin, London, Bergamo, and Gdansk.
Ryanair also recently launched a spring sale, cutting prices on selected routes by up to 20 percent in an effort to attract travellers planning holidays in the coming months.
In the UK, the airline has introduced several new routes as part of its network expansion.
Passengers departing from Bournemouth Airport will now have access to a new connection to Trapani, a destination on the west coast of Sicily.
Travellers flying from Leeds Bradford Airport will also see additional options, with new routes to Agadir and Warsaw.
Flight frequency on popular holiday routes from Leeds Bradford, including services to Alicante and Faro, is also being increased.

Meanwhile, travellers flying from Glasgow Airport will benefit from new routes to London Stansted Airport and Warsaw Modlin Airport.
Additional flights to the Spanish holiday destination are also being added as part of the airline’s summer expansion.
The airline’s latest warning highlights the importance of completing check-in and downloading boarding passes early, particularly for passengers travelling overnight or early Wednesday morning when the outage is scheduled to take place.
Travellers who fail to check in before the maintenance window could face delays accessing their booking information until the system returns online.
Ryanair has increasingly encouraged passengers to use its mobile app for check-in, boarding passes and travel updates as part of its shift toward a more digital-first customer experience.
The airline said services will return to normal once the maintenance period ends early Wednesday morning, with full access to bookings and check-in restored.
