Air France has announced the launch of seasonal flights to Malé, the capital of the Maldives, offering travellers a new opportunity to experience one of the world’s most stunning tropical destinations.
The new route will run from 19 December 2025 to 4 January 2026, coinciding with the festive season and school holidays, when demand for beach getaways traditionally surges.
Flights will depart twice a week, on Fridays and Sundays, from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The service will be operated using a Boeing 777-300 aircraft.
Known for its pristine white-sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and palm-lined islands, Malé is widely regarded as a paradise for relaxation and natural beauty.
The Maldives, an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, has long been a top choice for honeymooners and holidaymakers looking to unwind in luxury resorts and overwater villas.
Air France says the new service will cater to growing demand for long-haul leisure travel and offer passengers a premium, comfortable option for reaching the Maldives during the high season.
A spokesperson for the airline said the flights are part of Air France’s wider strategy to expand its network of leisure destinations during key travel periods.
“Malé is a dream destination, and we’re delighted to connect Paris to the Maldives during the peak winter months,” the airline said in a statement.
Travellers are now able to book tickets for the limited seasonal route on the Air France website or through authorised travel agents.
