Ryanair has confirmed that it will fully transition to paperless boarding passes starting November 3, 2025.
The move, originally set for May, has been delayed, giving customers additional time to adjust.
The airline revealed that 80% of its passengers already use digital boarding passes, but with approximately 200 million passengers annually, 40 million are still using printed boarding passes.

From November, Ryanair customers will no longer download or print physical boarding passes. Instead, they will use the digital boarding pass generated in the myRyanair app during check-in.
Ryanair has also announced plans to eliminate nearly all airport check-in fees by November 2025, as all passengers will be required to check in online or through the app.
Passengers without smartphones are advised to seek help from friends or family to ensure a smooth transition.
