Aer Lingus is making aviation history tomorrow with the official launch of Europe’s first-ever direct flight to Indiana.
The new transatlantic service will connect Dublin and Indianapolis four times a week, opening up a fast and convenient route to the heart of the U.S. Midwest.
With introductory fares starting at just €216.69 one-way*, the service is a major milestone in the airline’s continued expansion into North America and its commitment to connecting European travellers with dynamic U.S. destinations.

Often called the “Crossroads of America,” Indianapolis offers a rich mix of motorsport history, cultural attractions, and a thriving food and tech scene.
Aer Lingus says this route will appeal to leisure and business travellers alike, while also strengthening ties with the large Irish-American population in Indiana and nearby states.

Passengers departing from Dublin will also benefit from U.S. Customs and Border Protection preclearance, ensuring a smoother arrival experience upon landing in Indianapolis.

“This is a truly exciting addition to our growing network,” Aer Lingus said in a statement.
“Indianapolis is a Midwestern gem, and we’re proud to be the first airline in Europe to offer this direct connection.”
