Ryanair has introduced a new subscription service called Prime, offering frequent travellers the chance to save money on flights and additional perks.
The budget airline announced that the new scheme, launched on March 24, costs £79 per year and includes benefits such as:
- Free reserved seats
- Free travel insurance
- Access to 12 exclusive seat sales annually
Ryanair’s CMO, Dara Brady, described the service as a way for frequent flyers to travel regularly without spending excessively.
He emphasized that the £79 fee could deliver potential savings of up to £420 annually for those who take 12 flights per year.

Savings Breakdown
Ryanair calculated the savings as follows:
- £120 saved on reserved seats across 12 flights
- £180 saved on travel insurance for those flights
- £120 saved through discounted seats in exclusive sales
Even those who fly just three times a year could still save up to £105, Ryanair claimed.
Brady added that the airline, known for offering low fares for four decades, is now enhancing its services with this subscriber discount scheme.

Limited Availability
The Prime scheme is available to only 250,000 customers on a first come, first served basis. Those interested can sign up at Ryanair.com.
Competing Offers
Ryanair isn’t the only airline introducing such savings. Wizz Air offers an ‘all you can fly’ scheme for £495 (€599) per year, granting access to unlimited flights across 200 destinations in over 50 countries, though passengers must still pay a flat fee of £8.27 (€9.99) per booking.
